As an analyst you will have all the requisite valuation and modelling skills to understand and analyze both private and listed companies using accounts, management accounts, balance-sheets, interim and annual reports, and research notes and platforms.
You will have a strong academic background, be intellectually versatile, and enjoy building a case, and thesis, to support your ideas.
You must be autonomous and self-motivated, willing to be flexible, and willing to do very detailed and extensive analysis, as required.
- Support the portfolio manager(s) in conducting research, analysis, and due diligence on investment opportunities across various asset classes
- Develop and maintain financial models, valuations, and projections for potential investments
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, providing regular updates and recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Assist in the preparation of investment memos, reports, and presentations for the family and the investment committee
- Stay current on market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes to inform investment decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, or similar) preferred
- Proven experience in investment analysis, ideally within a family office, asset management, or investment banking setting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess complex investment opportunities
- Familiarity with a wide range of asset classes and investment strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
